This 17th century farm-house is truly magnificent. Located in the untouched and wild region of the Girona Pyrenees, it is a dream destination for hiking and mountain-biking enthusiasts. Surrounded by miles of woods and silence, the only lights at night are the moon and the stars. Situated on a mountain pass, the house offers breathtaking views of two valleys. With over 300 sunny days a year, it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. We have two beautifully refurbished guest-rooms available for rent on the first floor, where we also live. Additionally, there is an independent apartment on the ground floor. The largest guest-room features a double bed and a double futon sofa-bed, along with a private bathroom. The other room has two single beds. Our guests also have access to a dining room with a wood-stove reserved exclusively for them. The apartment is spacious and bright, with high vaulted ceilings. It includes an American kitchen, a fireplace, a large dining table, and a comfortable living area with a sofa-bed. There is a sleeping room with a double bed and a set of bunk beds, as well as a spacious bathroom. Guests can also enjoy a cozy garden terrace under stone vaults, complete with a barbecue. Our house is designed to be self-sufficient. The heating is provided by the central fireplace, and electricity is generated by solar panels. We take pride in making our own bread, pasta, game sausages, marmalades, and jams using fruits from our trees, as well as wild berries and nuts. We also grow our own organic vegetables and raise chickens and ducks. To enhance our guests' experience, we offer half-board and full-board services.
