Located between Beauce and Perche, just 7 km from Illiers-Combray, the charming village of Marcel Proust's childhood and Aunt Léonie, and only 3 km from the source of the Loire, you will find our welcoming bed and breakfast. Situated just 15 minutes from Chartres, Nathalie and Dominique have lovingly restored three comfortable rooms, which were once stables, preserving their original charm and character with features such as exposed beams, tommette floors, and timber accents. Each room has a private bathroom and independent ground floor access, making it easily accessible for those with reduced mobility. We also provide secure parking for our guests. In order to maintain a peaceful and clean environment, we kindly ask that pets are not brought onto the premises and that our rooms remain smoke-free.

Description for Gite

This fully restored barn offers a spacious and comfortable retreat, measuring 60 m2. The ground floor features a bright living and dining area with a stunning cathedral ceiling, seamlessly connected to an open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances such as a dishwasher, microwave, cooker, and fridge/freezer. For entertainment, there is a flat-screen TV. The ground floor also includes a cozy bedroom with a comfortable 160-sized bed and a bathroom with a WC. Upstairs, there is a mezzanine area with two single beds (90-sized).

Outside, you will find a private enclosed patio with a wooden terrace, where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air. The patio is furnished with comfortable garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for outdoor dining. Additionally, there is parking available on the premises. From the property, you can enjoy a lovely view of the enclosed pool.

For your convenience, the barn is equipped with electric heating. Linen rental and cleaning services are available upon request. Furthermore, the accommodation is accessible to people with reduced mobility, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay.

Originaire dIlliers-Combray et habitant en Bretagne, jai trouvé le gîte parfait pour venir visiter ma famille en Eure-et-Loir. Je vous recommande vivement ce gîte très agréable et au calme. Nathalie, la propriétaire des Logis du Breuil, est une personne dune grande gentillesse et surtout très discrète. Le gîte est très bien équipé, spacieux, que ce soit au niveau de la pièce de vie, de la chambre à coucher et de la salle de bain. Nous avons beaucoup aimé laccès au jardin par la terrasse à labri des regards. Lentrée privative dans la cour du gîte est très rassurante pour garer sa voiture. A lavenir, nous y séjournerons dès que nous reviendrons en Eure-et-Loir.
