The port mill, constructed with tufa stones in 1883, is located on the banks of the Cher River in the picturesque Loire Valley. Alexandra, our friendly host, will greet you with a warm welcome upon your arrival. You will be presented with a choice of bedrooms, some offering breathtaking views of the Cher River, while others provide a peaceful outlook of the lush wooded grounds. The house exudes a friendly and tranquil ambiance, allowing you to unwind by the heated swimming pool and revel in the mesmerizing surroundings. Additionally, a variety of activities are available for your enjoyment. To cater to your family's needs, we offer two fully equipped and private cottages. Located within expansive grounds, these two cottages are the meticulously restored outbuildings, offering complete privacy with individual enclosed areas furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue. Renovated to the highest standards, they boast tasteful decorations throughout. The open plan kitchen is fully equipped, featuring a hob, combination microwave/oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing and drying machine, cafetiere, toaster, kettle, dining area, and a comfortable lounge space. Both cottages offer two delightful bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with either twin beds or bunk beds, along with an additional bed. Directions
To travel from Paris, follow the A10 motorway and exit at N°18. Proceed towards Amboise and then Montrichard. Upon reaching Chissay, cross the Cher River and make a right turn at the first opportunity.
If you are coming from Tours, take the 76 National road towards Vierzon. When you arrive at Saint Georges sur Cher, make a left turn at the roundabout and then take the second road on the left side.
